Description:
The Minnesota Public Health Association is a non-profit, statewide professional organization actively serving Minnesotans, members, and the public health profession through their efforts and activities.
The Challenge:
The Minnesota Public Health Association desired a website that would become their new organization identity and act as their virtual office. Their organization was undergoing a transition of elected officials and wanted to take the opportunity to create a new identity to reflect the changes that were occurring. Their current site was very small and hadn't proved to be an effective tool to offer the public valuable information and attract new membership. Enter the abbott & abbott team…
Our Solution:
After a few initial meetings to determine the needs and priorities of the project, we came to the decision that the MPHA identity transformation would be a further success by creating a new logo. This new logo was incorporated on their business stationary as well as on the new web site. We took their old logo, an apple motif, which was beginning to look rather dated. Redesigned, the apple logo we created makes for a fresh, upbeat logo that would reflect the changes that were occurring in the organization. The new apple logo became the center for the web site design. We chose images centering on health and wellness, colors that would compliment the MPHA's new logo and reflect the warm, public-oriented nature of the organization.
